We created a space that was light, bright and interesting, but still in keeping with the traditional and layered architectural features of the room including beams, low ceilings, feature fireplace and quarry tiled floor.

A QUIRKY, HISTORIC PROPERTY WITHIN
A SMALL FARMING VILLAGE IN THE
STAFFORDSHIRE MOORLANDS
A bespoke wall of individually sourced antique and reclaimed objects was carefully curated in a nod to the house's heritage.
The objects included a 100 year old grain scoop, a reclaimed soil riddler and a large pair of French agricultural hoists.
A WALL OF INDIVIDUALLY SOURCED ANTIQUE OBJECTS WITH REFERENCE TO THE HISTORY OF THE HOUSE
The client loved the idea of unusual and reclaimed objects so we created a shelving display with a beautiful old antique ladder.
The mixture of old and new, organic and man made materials made the space feel in keeping with the heritage, but still contemporary.
WE CAREFULLY CURATED A MIX OF OLD AND NEW, ORGANIC AND MAN MADE TO CREATE A BALANCED AESTHETIC
The original and character features of this property were prominent so we worked them into the scheme. The properties name reference farming so we added subtle nods with softer materials like hides and sheepskins, and the little brass cows on the mantlepiece.
