Words from Past Clients
Millie helped us not only in the renovation of the space itself but also went as far as helping us with the branding and the colours which reflected not only in our cups but also on our instagram. She really got deep into our branding with us.
I was coming from an angle that I wanted everything to be Instagrammable. If you look around the shop, everything is considered.
From our menu to our bathroom, every single spot of the shop just looks really cool.

I recently visited the new coffee shop Yas Bean in Macclesfield last week. I had known that Millie of Back to the Future Interiors had done the design and planning of their recent refurb and was keen to check out her work. I can say I am very impressed. The shop is bright and exciting but with comforting and homely touches. Millie has created a place which is brand new but already has so much personality and a great atmosphere created with thoughtful design and a great use of colours, textures and materials. The standard and finish of all the work was impecible too and is a testament to the passion and eye for detail that Millie has in bucket loads. A hugely talented designer!
I've worked with you now on a few of your projects. After 38 years as an electrician, it takes a lot to impress me, but you impress me. You're so talented Millie.

Yas Bean coffee shop was, I know, a real passion project for Back to the Future Interiors and...
...boy was I blown away! What was a dark and dingy recording studio has become a light, bright space with a huge injection of the locally well-known Yas Bean personality. Millie has really captured the owners ethos and personality here, and having spoken with the owners whilst ordering my Iced latte, they made it clear they could not be happier with the end result. So excited to see what's next, and of course, have no hesitation on recommending BTFI to anyone needing a truly inspired interior design.

We wanted to modernise our property whilst keeping the original features so were looking for someone who could give us advice and some creative ideas (we always tend to go for the same thing.)
Millie listened very carefully to our likes and dislikes and captured us incredibly well in the design she proposed...
...We'll be using her in future for further projects.

We commissioned Millie to help us to plan our dining/family area which needed to include a lot of storage but also work as one space along with the kitchen.
Millie delivered a great design in keeping with our preferences and look/feel. We would definitely recommend her.

After months of going round in circles with colours and fabrics I found Millie!
Millie listened carefully to what I wanted and liked and the moodboard was full of things I loved.
She encouraged me to be more adventurous, choose colours and showed me how to pull the look together.
Millie is friendly, and professional and updated me with ideas and thoughts throughout the process.

We commissioned Millie to take on our project as we were looking to modernise our living room/diner...
..Her work is very methodical, she explained everything as we went and and provided us with beautiful designs. We now have an amazing family area with a modern feel but something that's just a little bit different which is exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended!

Back to the Future Interiors transformed my bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Having rented out my house for a number of years, the rooms were looking tired and outdated.
I’m really pleased with the outcome and am now commissioning Millie to take on full design and project management for the rest of the house before I move back in.

I'm so happy with the result, I never thought i'd feel so comfortable with this much use of bold colour. My room feels calming, contemporary and still a little bit quirky- it's really personal and represents me perfectly.
